  • Register: Register for the competition by completing the application form.
  • Startup Details: Fill in the required information about your startup.

Required Information:

  • Basic Information: Startup Title, CIN, website, industry, offerings type, location of operations, startup lifecycle stage, startup funding stage, incubation status, customer focus, and purpose.
  • Categorisation by revenue of FY24 to FY25Q1
  • Pre-Revenue: Under ₹5 lakh
  • Operationalization: Over ₹5 lakh but under ₹3 Cr.
  • Scaling: Over ₹3 Cr.

Need Recognition:

  • Problem Statement: Clearly articulate the problem statement including the target audience, problem description, impact, and stakeholders.
  • Solution Statement: Clearly articulate the solution including a high-level summary, core features, customer interaction, and outcome.
  • Weightage by Stage: Pre-revenue: 50%, Operationalization: 40%, Scaling: 30%

Preparedness:

  • Business Model: Customers, target markets, resources, offerings, pricing, research, marketing, competitors, distribution, compliance, costs, and revenue.
  • Team: Founders' expertise, team skills.
  • IP: Patents, trademarks, copyrights, designs.

Traction:

  • Revenue Traction: Revenue from the last three years and quarters, expenses, customer traction, onboarding time, total customers served, existing customers, repeat customers.
  • Weightage by Stage: Pre-revenue: 0%, Operationalization: 20%, Scaling: 40%

Ranking Methodology

Our selection process is transparent and rigorous, designed to identify the most promising startups.

Objective Parameters

  • Revenue: Current and projected revenue (Operationalization and Scaling).
  • Market Traction: User base, growth rate, engagement metrics.
  • Funding Stage: Amount of funding received.
  • Team Experience: Backgrounds of founders and core team.
  • Product Readiness: Development stage.
  • Industry Relevance: Alignment with key industries.

Subjective Parameters

  • Problem Statement: Relevance and clarity of the problem.
  • Solution Innovation: Uniqueness and effectiveness of the solution.

Scoring Algorithm

  • We assign weights to each criterion and expert formulas to score them.
  • Manual evaluations are combined with automated scores to ensure fairness.

Invitation to Nextwave Goa 2024

  • Results announcement tentatively on 1st week of Oct.
  • Top 5% and 30% of startups per category will be invited.
  • February 2025
